This is in line with the average for England at 8.9. this compares, very favourably, with Blackpool and Darwen: 23.5 and 18.8% percent, respectively. Also, completion figures for greater Lancashire were 12.5% which is double that for Blackpool and Blackburn with Darwen. Completion rates were higher in areas of the county outside of Blackpool and Blackburn/Darwen.
Unsurprisingly, the death rates in Lancashire outside of Blackpool/Blackburn/Darwen were similar to the rest of England at 5. Blackpool, for this period, had 22 and Blackburn: 9.
Aside from Blackpool/Blackburn and Darwen, there were 83.9 admissions to hospital per 100,000 persons aged between 15-24 which is only very slightly higher than the average for England a 81.2
