It is not Morphine, despite having a similar name.
Cychlorphine is an entirely synthetic opioid made in a laboratory.

What does Cychlorphine do to the body?
Cychlorphine is an opioid so sits on opioid receptors in the brain and spinal cord.

A sense of euphoria is felt.
As an opioid, the drug will also block pain signals in the same way as Morphine or any other opioid.
The drug is extremely short acting. After a dose, within two hours, more than 50% of the drug will have been eliminated.
This means that you need to continually take it to maintain the effect.
When you take it the drug will reach it's peak effect in fifteen minutes.
It will only show up on a specialist drugs test and then only for up to three days after the drug is used.
Cychlorphine binds, very strongly, to opioid receptors meaning that it will remove opioids already attached to receptors.
This makes it a very dangerous drug.

Cychlorphine is cheap to produce.
Because it is cheap dealers will mix it in with other drugs, such as cocaine and heroin.

Can the effects of Cychlorphine be reversed?
Currently, there is no known reversal agent for Cychlorphine.
Naloxone, the emergency drug given to reverse the effects of opioids has a very limited effect on Cychlorphine.
If it were to be effective it would require very large doses over a prolonged period.
However, there is virtually no research, to date, on this.

Why is Cychlorphine addictive?
When you use opioids, they sit on receptors in the brain (and spinal cord.)
Opioids cause the brain to release naturally occurring chemicals which is what causes the blocking of pain signals as well as a feeling of euphoria.
If you keep taking them, the brain will become accustomed to the presence of opioids and will alter the way it process signals caused by the drug when it sits on receptors.
This is known as tolerance. Once of the effects of tolerance is that you will need ever increasing amounts of the drug to have the same effect as the amount you first started taking.
If you stop taking an opioid suddenly, or reduce too quickly, the brain simply won't be able to cope and will fire off incorrect chemical messaging.
This is what causes what are known as withdrawals.
Withdrawing from opioids can be fatal.

Without medical intervention, using an opioid substitute to replace the opioid and reduce, safely, over a period of time (detox) you will experience overwhelming cravings.
