Negative effects of Kush

Kush, because it is a cannabinoid, will affect the way your brain develops.

If you start using it before your mid 20's, Kush can impair both your thinking and memory as well as your learning potential.

There can be permanent changes to your IQ due to using Kush as well as significant physical problems that can come about from using Kush such as:

Breathing problems: Kush irritates the lungs more aggressively than tobacco.

Long term breathing problems, including COPD, is common. People with COPD die much younger than those who don't and their quality of life can be greatly reduced.

Danger to the unborn child: Smoking Kush while pregnant can cause permanent harm to the unborn child.

Tachycardia: Smoking Kush can cause an abnormal and dangerous rise in your heartrate for several hours after using it.

This can lead to an acute medical emergency that might not be reversible, especially if you have an underlying heart condition.

Gastrointestinal: Kush use can lead to severe vomiting and chronic nausea.

This is known as Cannabinoid Hyperemesis syndrome and may need hospital treatment for fluid replacement.

Brain Tolerance and Withdrawal

When you use Kush it sits on receptors in the brain and affects chemical messaging which is what causes the effects that it has.

If you use it continually, the brain will become used to Kush affecting receptors and the brain changes the way it works to accommodate it.

This is known as tolerance.

When your brain enters a state of tolerance, this means that you will need ever increasing amounts of Kush to have the same effect as the amount you took when you first discovered Kush.

Should you stop using Kush the brain will struggle to cope, in the short term, with this change.

As a result, incorrect chemical messaging will be fired off.

This is what leads to symptoms known as withdrawal. These can include:

Irritability

Anger

Aggression

Disturbed sleep

Loss of appetite

Usually, these symptoms will peak at day six after you stop using but can last up to three weeks.

 What about home Kush addiction?

Not reccomended.

Residential treatment is always the optimal treatment choice and will cost a lot less.

Treatment at home, because of the need for medical oversight and 24/7 nurse support would be incredibly cost prohibitive.

It is possible.
